Horse Leader Application
Horse leaders are responsible to pull, groom, and tack horses for therapeutic riding lessons. They are an advocate and caretaker for their assigned horse and a crucial part of the therapeutic team. They work collaboratively with the instructor, sidewalker, horse and participant and report to the equine manager.
An ideal candidate must have direct hands-on horse handling of at least one year in the last 3 years, have an excellent ability to be mentally present and aware of safety risks and a positive, teachable attitude.
Pay starts at $12.00/hour
Candidates MUST be able to work at least ONE of the following shift dates with NO misses. Leaders can work as many shifts as they’d like per week.
October 14 - November 23
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays 2:30-5:30 or 5:00-8:00
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays 2:30-5:30 or 5:00-8:00
Applicants may have the option to begin working as soon as
September 17th.
