Spring Session Riding Goals

This Spring Session for Barn Buddies, we are working heavily on steering and distinguishing between right and left! The “end goal” would be demonstrated on the arena to the left. At the highest riding level, a rider could ride off lead through the cones and poles to turn right (red) or left (blue) to halt and deliver an item to the matching bucket! Regardless of ability or interest level, we can take these left/ right and steering concepts to integrate fun into ANY rider’s lesson! Our hope is to create progress both developmentally and in riding skills for each of our participants by meeting them where they are at.
