Volunteer of the Month- Suzanna Arnold

Starting back up with our volunteer spotlights and today we recognize Suzanna Arnold! Suzanna has been volunteering at the farm since August 2022. She first got started with horses around the age of 14; her mom encouraged her as a way to stay out of trouble. ;) She stuck with it and ended up carrying a flag for opening ceremonies for the Rolex 3 Day event, a few years later.

Suzanna says she chooses to volunteer at Justin’s Place because she loves horses, kids and has extra time on her hands now that her own children are grown. Suzanna and her husband are proud parents of 2 grown adults who both serve in our US military.

When asked about 1 thing she loves about the farm she said “I don’t know that I can name just one thing. I love the instructors, the volunteers, the families and of course the horses. I enjoy coming out to a peaceful place. It is just as therapeutic for me as it is for the kids.”
