Horse Feature: Scarlet

Scarlet is a half Arabian, half saddlebred mare in her 20’s. Scarlet was rescued by Kentucky Equine Adoption Center and then adopted by Allie Barnett in 2016. She worked as a therapeutic riding horse for young girls with early developmental trauma for four years before coming to Justin’s Place.

At Justin’s Place, Scarlet works primarily as a Stable Moments horse. Her strengths are being emotionally intuitive for her handlers, being eager to please, and her extra fuzzy, soft coat. Her favorite activity is to be groomed.
