Stable Moments Mobile Pony Visit 2

We braved the rainy weather this April for our second pony visit for our Stable Moments Mobile program! Participants at two local elementary schools practiced safe leading of their ponies and then leading them through an obstacle course!

We’ve been discussing many helpful life skills such as: distinguishing safe adults, how to be a safe friend for others and how to be a strong and empathetic leader. Kids got to put these skills to work leading their ponies! Let me say, it was NOT an easy feat! The ponies were highly motivated to drop their heads and munch grass, which allowed for many struggles for our participants. They were able to work through problem solving, building their confidence and persevering even when things are hard! We are so proud of each of them, how they were able to demonstrate good leadership and great care for their poines.
