Meet Our Barn Manager!

Presley has been a long-time volunteer and horse enthusiast! I first met Presley when she reached out to Safe Haven Equine Ministries on behalf of her UK Sorority to do a manual labor project! She brought out a small group of girls that tirelessly shoveled gravel into wheel barrels and dumped it into our stalls! SOMEHOW that experience didn’t scare her away and she came on board as a regular volunteer! In 2020, when Safe Haven’s resources moved to Justin’s Place, Presley came with us!! She’s always been an excellent horse woman and has a major talent for serving. At Justin’s Place she volunteered from day one, helping care for the horses and leading in lessons. In early 2021, Presley came on staff as a part-time equine assistant and later transitioned into the role of Barn Manager. She works hard to care for and train all of our animals, maintain our facility, and so much more! We know we can’t hang on to Presley forever as she will soon be graduating with a degree in engineering from UK but we sure are grateful for all she’s given to Justin’s Place so far!
