Participants Picking a Plan

One of our values at Justin’s Place is being participant centered. This overflows into our sessions in many ways! We have many times of open-ended, child directed play. We also allow our participant to choose what they would like to do each week. Each child has a visual schedule of activities that include things from riding horses, to learning about pigs, and doing an art project! By allowing the child to pick, they are empowered and given a sense of control. Check out this awesome picture of two volunteers and their kiddos picking out their plans for the coming week!
