“Learn About My Horse” Activity
It’s about time for a new activity to be added to our library!! This activity has been rolling around in my brain for some time. It’s an opportunity for kiddos to learn specifics and equine terms about their specific horse. Here is a picture of one of our super smart participants who loves to learn and read. She really enjoyed learning new equine terms about her horse. She learned that her horse “Solo” is a buckskin Quarter Horse. He has in interrupted stripe face marking and is a gelding! The beauty of these activities is that they can be done anywhere on the farm. This particular day, we sat in the middle of the barn isle while our horse was getting tacked for lesson. We felt the lovely breeze, were joined by the cat, and had a lovely time learning together!
