Did you know each time our riders dismount we encourage them to say thank you? This can look like a verbal “thank you”, a pat, a kiss or even sometimes a hug! This builds empathy and connection with their horse. For those who enjoy interesting tactile input, a horses muzzle can be a great tool!! Many kids enjoy touching the soft velvet of their horse’s muzzle, their whiskers, or feeling their breath on their skin!
