Meet Our Minis

Did you know Justin’s Place has two miniature horses?! Their names are Milly (blue eyes) and Dixie (brown eyes). They serve almost every day during the week in both our Barn Buddies program and Stable Moments program. Both Milly and Dixie are assigned to local foster kids to meet with on a weekly basis for Stable Moments. They are also a very popular activity in Barn Buddies. Activities kiddos can do with our minis are brush them, lead them, and “style their hair”. These sweet mares were rescued by Allie, our director around 8 years ago! After spending some time getting healthy and trained, they got right to work ever serving children first at Safe Haven Equine Ministries and now Justin’s Place!
