Stable Moments Mobile

Stable Moments in a worldwide curriculum that pairs a child with mentor and a horse for one hour per week! This model was created for children with early developmental trauma, those who have been fostered and those adopted. Justin’s Place has provided this program since 2021. In 2023, we saw a need for this program to be brought to more children by overcoming barriers of transportation, payment and time! We sought to do this by taking Stable Moments INTO our local elementary schools. Of course, it was not the most economical to bring full size horses to schools each week, so we modified the program to include our miniature horses for a few visits and end the program with a field trip to the farm!

Words can’t express how special this time the at the farm was! It was following 10 months of consistent. mentorship between these amazing kiddos and adults. It was amazing to see the kiddos light up and grow in confidence when interacting with our animals and riding our horses!
