What does a vaulting lesson look like?

Vaulting lessons are great because they can encourage teamwork and a playful atmosphere! A typical lesson would be a group of children who warm up together by running or stretching. The group then does drills or exercises that will help them develop a skill on the horse! This is done on vaulting barrels, gym mats, trampolines or the ground. 1-2 kids go into the arena for their turn practicing on the horse. Each child gets 1-2 turns on the horse. The lesson ends with all kids thanking the horse and a group cool down. Check out our in-progress vaulting warm-up space in our indoor arena!
