Leased vs Owned Horses

Did you know at Justin’s Place about half of our lesson horses are leased from private owners? This helps us keep our financial liability down and is also a great way to partner with our community! Many of our leased horses have owners who don’t have the time to dedicate to them at a point in life and are happy to let them have a job with meaning. Some horses stay for a year and some for a lifetime! Justin’s Place covers their cost of care and provides the necessary training to enter the lesson program. Our horse’s histories include hunter jumper, western dressage, trail riding, 4H and more!
