Why a draft horse?

Drafts are historically known as working breeds. Their strong bodies and necks make them great for pulling wagons, plowing and hauling weight. In therapeutic equine assisted activities, draft horses can be a great option! They generally have a calmer demeanor and are more slow moving. Their wide backs provide great sitting support and a wider base for vaulting. Justin’s Place purchased our first draft horse in later 2022 named Fanny. We now lovingly know her has “Fanny May”. She is currently in training for vaulting.
